Canteen Community Education team

Our Canteen Education events and webinars provide family cancer support in the form of practical tools, strategies, resources and services for both parents impacted by a significant illness and the health and service professionals supporting them.

These events are led by Shae Chester, Community Education Manager for Canteen Australia. Based In Tasmania, Shae has worked for Canteen since 2009 across many different roles including working directly with young people, families and health professionals in both programs, support and education. Shae is just as passionate about educating communities to support more young people and their families when they are impacted by cancer and other illnesses as she is about being a mum - read her story here.
